I have read both the 1st and 2nd editions of Interminable Longing.
It is a rare thing to actually find an author who can write a character so seemingly real that you almost catch yourself thinking of her as someone you actually know.
Ms. Johnson has done just that with this book.
I look forward to future writings!

Ms. Johnson’s book is the story of one woman’s quest for self, but it is also the story we all have faced. The realization that we can’t be who our family, friends and society wants us to be,but rather, must tilt at all the windmills of life to find our own dream. If we are lucky we, like Alice, find our Dulcinea. Ms. Johnson has written a well rounded novel full of real people, real foibles, humor and Archie. She is to be commended on her first book. I made some coffee and curled up to my computer and began to read the First Chapter. My eyes began to tear up immediately with David reminding me of my own son leaving in his car for the first time. Going to work and wondering what you’re going to do with the rest of your life. Looking at yourself and all things and feelings you left behind. A day you thought would never come. It’s a sad time but also a time where I can find myself again. Being married my self at one time and going through all of the same things and feelings. Oh, I could on and on for hours. Thank you for this Chapter. I can’t wait to read on.
